I love my bobble bottles! They are durable and are perfect for me. I see this one all the time, talking about how much cleaner and brighter you can get your clothes. I really wanted to see if would actually work..
 I was sent four samples to try out and see for myself. I do use several kinds of laundry detergent. But have never used Tide Pods til now. I really love that it is in pac form because honestly measuring it out gets messy and most of the time I either add too little or too much detergent. I have used two samples already and love how I have noticed a change in how cleaner my clothes are and they smell nice too!

Under the Sea Holy Bible Review & Giveaway!

The Under the Sea Holy Bible, NIrV is a perfect gift for children ages 6 to 10. Themes of underwater fun and sparkling fish grace the interior of this wonderful children’s Bible. The outside is covered in foil and sparkle. The interior has color inserts featuring whimsical underwater scenes with themes of God’s care and love for each of us and all of creation.

It is a great learning tool for your children, because of the small print,  it is definitely ideal for children over 6 years. The colorful pages make it very appealing and easy for young kids to understand. The small print  was not an issue. There are a list of Ten Commandments for kids in the book that my children loved to read over and over again. Would make a great gift too!

This was the first time using All Laundry Detergent  I was happy that it cleaned our clothes very well. It comes in 3 varieties and you can choose 18 ct or 50ct. I like the fact that there is no measuring involved and  that all I need to do is throw in 1 or 2 pacs and add in my laundry. I think I would like to try the OXI pacs next!

Sweet and Spicy Jicama Shoe String Fries Recipe

We all know french fries are high in fat, but they’re so delicious!  Sweet and Spicy Jicama Shoe String “Fries”, a recipe recommended by certified nutritionist Janet Brill, are sweetened with SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend to create a side dish that’s sure to satisfy.  Jicamas are an edible tuberous root with a crisp and mildly sweet interior.  You can find them at most supermarkets and specialty markets.

Serving Size: ½ Cup

Serves: 4      

INGREDIENTS

1 large jicama, spiralized
Olive oil, to drizzle (about 2 Tablespoons)
1 tablespoon SPLENDA® Brown Sugar Blend
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ teaspoon smoked sweet paprika

DIRECTIONS

1.   Preheat the oven to 405°F.

2. Cut or snip jicama strings into “fry-sized” pieces.  When done, lay pieces out on two large baking trays. Drizzle with olive oil and toss together so that jicama is coated.

3. In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

4. Evenly sprinkle seasoning over jicama.  Toss again to combine and then lay them out, avoiding overlapping as much as possible.  Bake for 15 minutes on one side.  Using tongs, turn over jicama strings and bake another 10-15 minutes or until crispy. Serve as a snack or side dish.
