Back Story of How Kleenex Started
Kleenex is our go to brand for tissues not only do they come in stylish designs, they are very soft for using on the face. When these were first designed it was trademarked Kleenex® and launched in 1924 as a makeup remover; a disposable substitute for face towels. The name Kleenex® is likely a combination of the word "cleansing" (shortened to "clean") while the capital "K" and the "ex" ending were adopted from Kotex®. It went on the following years as the best kept secret for Hollywood movie stars until Kimberly-Clark head researcher started using the tissues instead of a handkerchief and went on to serve as tissues for women, men and children.
I have purchased Kleenex for many years now myself. I find them a lot more softer for my face and hands than other kinds of tissues. Of course because of this my kids love them too. With cold season happening now My kids can take the slim packs to school, can easily fit into a pocket!
